good stuff December 27, 2008 Sheryl E. Thompson (Everett, WA) I really like this oatmeal better than rolled outs like Quaker. I'm definitely buying again but next times gettng the instant.
Happy I found this here on Amazon November 26, 2008 €ricket (Seattle, Wa) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
My co-worker turned me onto Steel Cut Oatmeal and then I introduced it to my family. Although I can find it in my local grocery store, it is at least twice the price. My most recent order here on Amazon I paid an average of $2.14 a box using Subscribe and Save and an additional discount that was being offered. Can't beat that deal and it keeps my cupboards stocked.
The best July 10, 2008 D. Chandler (Kerikeri, New Zealand) This is far and away the best packaged oatmeal available. I would just about kill to get it here in New Zealand and I'm chatting up a local importer to see if that can happen.
awesome June 2, 2008 shutupash (Atlanta, GA) I love the texture of this more than the Quaker brand. I cooked it and then in the last few minutes added cinnamon, chopped pecans, raisins and chopped dried apricots, and honey. It was so yummy. I made more than I could eat (this stuff is filling!) and so I brought it into work the next day... same texture and flavor. It kept very well over night.
Tasty treat May 15, 2008 PC (Los Angeles, CA United States) Very tasty with good texture. It is clearly different from the rolled oats. I like the nutty flavor. It does take 30 to 40 minutes of constant attention if you start from scratch. I did not try the "soak over night, boil for 10 minutes" methods.
