Product Description A dozen 1-1/2-inch diameter rollers heat up in just two minutes, so you don't have to start plotting three days in advance to get your curls in progress. Twelve pins are included to hold the rollers in place. This is a modernized version of the roller sets of yesteryear: it's compact, lightweight, and efficient, and the velvety covering on the rollers helps protect your hair from heat damage.

Great rollers, useless clips! January 8, 2009 Raymond D. Bryan (Sapulpa, OK) This product is perfect for the style I am looking for. I have long, below shoulder length hair, that is fine. This size roller gives me the body I need with a curl that is not too tight. The only reason I gave this four stars is that the clips they sell with the rollers are useless. I needed Conair SPC10R Super Clips to keep the rollers in place.
let them heat longer than 2 minutes January 6, 2009 R. Kennedy (Castle Rock, CO United States) The first time I used my new rollers they worked amazingly, but the next few times I was disappointed that the curl would fall right out of my thick straight hair. After trial and error, I discovered that if I let the curlers heat up for about 10 minutes (rather than the two that are advertized), I end up with fantastic curls that will last until the next time I wash my hair. One other 'downside' is the clips that come with the set - they leave me with little crimp marks in my hair. I highly recommend buying the conair SPC10R super clips. They don't leave marks, and they hold the rollers in place far more securely. On the whole, though, I am very satisfied with this product.
Great Buy! January 6, 2009 aufan1989 (St Louis, MO) I've had these rollers for a month now, and couldn't be happier. My hair is thin and fine, and these rollers give it incredible body, yet not curly - just what I was hoping for. I sometimes get a crimp in my hair from the clips, but that seems to happen only when the clip is very close to my scalp. One thing that would be nice is some kind of container to hold the clips, but that's the only negative thing I can say.
Finally what I need December 18, 2008 Cynthia Kalfus (Pompano Beach,FL USA) I have long hair, & I only use the jumbo rollers. This CHV14 heats up quickly and does the job. I do not like the clips that come with the machine. They dent my hair and are not strong enough. So I had to buy the Conair SPC10R Super Clips which do the job without denting my hair. Buy both at the same time so shipping will be less.I wash and blow dry my hair, then use the rollers. I've cut my hair-time in half, and now with less wear and tear on my hair.
Tepid heat, tepid product! December 17, 2008 P. Smith This is not a good product -- doesn't heat up much -- isn't worth the time of rolling your hair on the rollers!
