Others may love this k cup but I found it way too bitter. I have to admit I don't drink that much bold coffee but have had a chance to try a few others and don't care for this one. My Keurig only has the 8oz capacity and I took a cue from other users and run the bold k cups through twice to make 12 to 16 ounces depending on the type coffee. Well even if I run this through twice at a total of 16 oz it is still too bitter... just not my k cup of coffee I guess but I do like Donut Shop and Newman's Own Extra Bold.

I have lived in New Orleans since 1990 and this really does taste like the coffee you'd get at a good local (cf Brennan's) restaurant. Strong, lots of body, but not bitter - stands up to the 10 oz setting, too. Not the only coffee I drink, but it lives up to its name.

Emeril's dark roasts are rich and smooth, and make the full "largest" size on a Keurig machine with plenty of flavor. I'm impressed at the lack of bitterness and still the "startbuck" like burn quality. A very good value when compared to other brands,and retains a Designer Coffee flavor.

I BOUGHT THIS COFFEE DUE TO THE RAVE REVIEWS, BASED ON "EXTRA BOLD" CRITERIA. SINCE I HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH ALL MY OTHER TIMOTHY BRAND COFFEES, I WILL ASSUME THIS WAS A VERY BAD BATCH. VERY BITTER WITH A STRONG BURNT AFTER TASTE. THREW AWAY BOTH BOXES, AFTER TRYING SEVERAL OUT OF EACH BOX. WILL NOT BUY THIS ONE AGAIN BUT WILL CONTINUE BUYING OTHER TIMOTHY WORLD COFFEES.

In my family's opinion the is absolutely the best k cup. It is bold, strong, flavorful and lives up to expectations.
